The play Julius Caesar had many events that happen during the different scenes.
The play starts out with Caesar wanting to join the senate, the fellow senate members don't feel that he is adequate to join, but he eventually gets in. While he is in the senate his friend Pompey gets to become king after a long war that he has won. Caesar then realizes that he must fight against Rome's enemies to get power, so he asks Pompey for legions of troops so that he can fight a war so that he may obtain money, power, and slaves for the good of Rome. After becoming very powerful in Rome he travels to Egypt and meets Cleopatra. He believes he can not be touched and can not be harmed by any man, this becomes his downfall. All his friends betray him and he is assassinated.
